Soar Organics Uji Ceremonial Matcha is a connoisseur favorite. Masterfully grown in historic Uji, Kyoto, this first harvest matcha can be appreciated for its vibrant green colour, deliciously smooth flavour and rich nutritional profile. Only the youngest, shade-grown leaves are picked for this classification of matcha. Their stems and veins are entirely removed before being slowly stone ground into a very fine, delicate powder.

How To Use

Best used in traditional matcha tea or super premium matcha lattes. Matcha tea instructions:

  1. Sift ½ tsp. matcha powder into bowl or cup.
  2. Pour 60ml (2oz) hot water onto the powder. For best results use water just under a boil.
  3. Whisk thoroughly until your matcha tea forms a frothy layer.
  4. Add more hot water to desired taste.

Like any ceremonial matcha you buy you're going to be spending a tad more on the cost and maybe getting a bit less, but I'd say that this one was definitely up there for me in my top 3. I really appreciate the transparency of the origins as well as third party testing on the website, especially given how expensive matcha can be it's important that you have all the facts. I love supporting local companies whenever I can and this is definitely one worth giving a shot.
