How To Use

Best used in traditional matcha tea or super premium matcha lattes. Matcha tea instructions:

  1. Sift ½ tsp. matcha powder into bowl or cup.
  2. Pour 60ml (2oz) hot water onto the powder. For best results use water just under a boil.
  3. Whisk thoroughly until your matcha tea forms a frothy layer.
  4. Add more hot water to desired taste.

This matcha is delicious! Some of the best I've had and while I may not have tried too many, this one really has a great taste that is somewhat sweet and very smooth. Gives me the energy I'd like too! Great product that I feel confident buying knowing their extensive testing and it's organic.

kirishima matcha review

i lived in Japan in the 1960’s. one of my studies was tea ceremony. i’ve been drinking matcha regularly since then. for many years i returned to Japan and bought my matcha from my favorite dealer in Kyoto (which had opened in 1875), but 5 years ago i gave up flying as one of my efforts to try to help the ecological situation of the world. i then began a task of tasting the various matchas that were available for me to purchase in North America. after extensive searching and tasting i had to choose Soar Organics above all others. not only is Kirishima Ceremonial my favorite matcha amongst all the others, i also appreciate Soar Organics’ awareness and commitment to social and environmental issues. when i receive each order that is packed in a recyclable box with biodegradable pellets and know that Soar donates to social and environmental non-profit organizations, it makes my daily drink all the more enjoyable.

Soar Kirishima Ceremonial Matcha Tea review

We love the Kirishima Ceremonial Matcha Tea. It has a pleasant, grassy taste without being bitter and is our current favorite! We enjoy matcha every morning. We also enjoy the Uji Ceremonial Grade Matcha.
We are not experts on Macha by any means. Perhaps novices, at best. But we do enjoy it. We like the Kirishima best because it is slightly “smoother” or perhaps without the slightly bitter notes we notice with the Uji Ceremonial Grade Matcha.
One thing we have learned over the last four years drinking matcha, is that for matcha, just like wine, the terroir (growing region, soils, climate, surrounding environment), farming techniques, variety of tea, and the purveyors are all important and make a difference. We trust Soar Organics, and Chris and Megan, to provide consistent high quality matcha, and to immediately and completely address our observations and questions, as they may arise.

Amazing quality

I’ve bought several tubs of this matcha at it’s amazing. First of all this company tests their products for mycotoxins (which I’m very sensitive to) and other contaminants. Almost no other matcha company does this. This matcha has zero bitterness and is super smooth. They also write a little message in each order which is very sweet ❤️
