How To Use

Best used in traditional matcha tea or super premium matcha lattes. Matcha tea instructions:

  1. Sift ½ tsp. matcha powder into bowl or cup.
  2. Pour 60ml (2oz) hot water onto the powder. For best results use water just under a boil.
  3. Whisk thoroughly until your matcha tea forms a frothy layer.
  4. Add more hot water to desired taste.

Soar Organics satisfies me on several levels.....

After purchasing Matcha in Japan for years, i researched and tasted almost every company in North America. When i discovered Soar Organics and their principles of recycling and using even compostable 'peanuts', i was thrilled with their ethics as well as the taste of Kirishima Ceremonial. Now, over the years, i have -and am reusing- many of their convenient metal containers...i use them in gardening, in storing various items, i've given dozens of them to many others as well. i like the convenience but am disturbed by so many containers that i have not been able to reuse. for this recent order i chose to purchase the 100g packages rather than the 30g containers. it was easy to transfer the matcha into the smaller bins and i am now more satisfied with the possibility of reusing the convenience and also being able to respond to my ecological concerns. OK, so I just finished the entire 100 g bag of the Kirishima ceremonial Matcha and I am ready to share my thoughts. I love it. I have 3 or 4 other brands of Matcha that I rotate daily depending on my mood but I have not touched any of them since trying this one. I am a matcha lover and I absolutely love the depth of flavour and the quality of Kirishima. It hits all the notes that matcha is known for without being overly savory, just the right amount of umami and natural sweetness. It is a gorgeous vibrant green so finely mailled and smooth. I am impressed with the quality! Needless to say I just ordered my second bag and I already got a notification that my product has shipped! It’s a bonus that their customer service is awesome!
